To activate money into your life there are two sectors you need to be concerned about. One is the southeast (money) sector and the other is the northwest (helpful people) corner.

Understand that a great idea or having superior talent is useless if you have no one to help you and guide you. So with that said, you will want enhance your helpful peoples sector first. You can do this a number of ways. One is by placing six metal Chinese coins, or hang 6 rod wind chimes in the Northwest sector of your home. You can also tie three of these coins with red string around your phones to bring in contacts. Sure to work like a charm.

Next you will want to activate your southeast sector by bringing in plants such as Lucky Bamboo or any other broad leaf plants. But stay away from the cactus and bonsai. Since southeast is a wood element, you can bring in water features like fountains.

Check your home's layout and make sure you do not have a kitchen or bathroom in the southeast or have the southeast corner missing. If it is missing learn how to fix it.

Next Apply the 8 Mansions Formula.

Once you've found your lucky and unlucky directions, check for bathrooms and kitchens and make sure those kinds of rooms are located in your not so lucky directions. But remember for money, bathrooms and kitchens cannot be in the southeast.

The best way to increase wealth is to increase energy. You can tap into the most energy sit facing and sleep with your head towards your sheng chi or vitality direction. For 2003, it so happens that the southeast is the location of loss and sickness. So the dreaded 5 yellow has entered this square. The rule is to always deactivate the earth number 5 with the metal number 6. So bringing in Chinese coins and a metal 6 rod wind chime will alleviate the loss.

But should you activate the southeast rooms with plants since wood controls earth? Or are you bringing in more bad luck by activating an unlucky room? The key is to deactivate the 5, so any attempts to control the 5 with wood or metal would be a good idea. But as complicated as this sounds you're probably better off staying out of that room until next year.

Update: Wood can exhaust earth, however, if there are flying stars like #1, #6, and #8 in a particular sector, wood #4 would actually exhaust those heaven sent numbers. However, plants outside of the home are always fortunate.

Lastly find rooms within your homes natal charts that have the numbers 1,4,6,8 and stay out of rooms with number 2,3,5,7. If you happen to stay in one of these rooms there are cures.
